KOCHI: Fahrenheit 9/11, a spiky film by Michael Moore on the Bush administration reaction to the bombing of the World Trade Centre, will be among the films to be screened in Kochi for three days from Friday as part of a nation-wide protest against the visit of U.S. President George W. Bush to India.
Called `Films4Peace', the festival will be staged on Durbar Hall Grounds between 6 and 9 p.m. Cine actor Murali will inaugurate the festival at a function at 3 p.m. on Friday. Among the other films at the festival are Breaking the Silence, El Salvador - Another Vietnam, Maziar Bahari, Stop Killing My Kids and America, America. On Wednesday, the city witnessed a get-together of artists at the Town Hall against the U.S. President. An exhibition of paintings by a group of artists was the main feature of the campaign.
The campaign was inaugurated by Mayor Mercy Williams.
