Kanhangad school emerges runner-up in CBSE fete

Christ CMI Public School here has emerged the runner-up in State Kalotsav 2011 organised by the Confederation of Kerala Sahodaya Complexes that concluded at Angamaly in Ernakulam district on Saturday.

The school secured 375 points while the Silver Hills Higher Secondary School, Kozhikode, became the overall champions with 411 points, school Principal George Punchayil said here on Sunday. The school won first prizes in mime shows, Duff Muttu, and English essay writing (upper primary section). It bagged third prizes in Thiruvathirakkali, Margam Kali, patriotic song, and English versification (higher secondary section), he said.
