: A string of interesting events, including robotics, hand shadowgraphy and exhibitions, by various departments marked the second day of ‘Tathva,' an annual techno-management festival of the National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NIT-C), on its campus here on Friday.
Exhibitions held by the ISRO, Coast Guard, Beypore, and Indian Army, which were organised under a single roof, attracted many a spectator, who had reached the campus from across the country.
Cars on display
‘Wheels', an exposition of automobiles showcased a variety of new generation cars.
The various stalls set up by different engineering departments had informative posters throwing more light on the working models arranged at the stalls.
The ‘technite' with a roboshow and an eye-catching shadowgraphy with the members of the college dance club moving to the groovy beat was another major attraction of the day.
The four-day event was inaugurated by P.P Chandrachoodan, senior scientist at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, on the NIT-C campus on Thursday.
‘Tathva' according to the organisers, is intended to provide the best and most relevant platform for budding engineers to hone and exhibit their engineering acumen and extra-curricular skills. The Hindu is the media partner of the event.
