Thiruvananthapuram: The official residence of Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan on Friday received an anonymous call threatening that a police station in Kasaragod would be set ablaze if action was not taken to trace a girl missing from the area.

The mobile phone from which the call originated had been traced, the police said. Efforts were on to identify the caller, sources said. The call was received by the security personnel on duty at the guard post. — PTI
