THALASSERY: Senior advocate T.A. Ramadas died at his residence at Thiruvangad here on Friday. He was 77. The cremation will be on Saturday.

An active figure in social and legal circles in the district, Mr. Ramadas started his career at the Thalassery Bar in 1955 after graduating in law from Madras. He had served as president of the Thalassery Bar Association, secretary of the Sharda Krishna Iyer

Memorial Society, member of the Gundert Memorial Trust and legal adviser of the Brahmin Society. He is survived by wife and four daughters. Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan was among those who paid homage to the deceased here on Friday.
