KOCHI: Federal Bank workers, under the aegis of the Federal Bank Employees’ Union, held a dharna before the Bank headquarters in Aluva on Wednesday demanding, among other things, filling of the more than 1,000 vacancies, ending of outsourcing of work, and acceptance of the charter of demands by the employees.

P. Raju, AITUC state secretary, inaugurated the dharna. John Lukose, state secretary of the HMS, and Federal Bank Employees’ Union general secretary P.P. Varghese were among those who spoke.
