KOCHI: The All India Bank Officers’ Association will take out a campaign against the policy of the banking sector, which is “heavily loaded against small and medium entrepreneurs, self-employed categories and small and medium term industries.” Talking to presspersons on Monday, association general secretary R.J. Sridharan said that the United Forum of Bank Unions would meet on December 11 at Mumbai to declare strike against the Government move on merger of banks and other issues. The association would also form a trust for providing relief to unorganised sector and to supplement Government efforts to assist employees in the unorganised sectors. The association has instituted a special fund with a corpus of Rs. 5 lakh.
