ALAPPUZHA: The Saudi Arabia-based NAS Tourism group has announced its new project in Kerala, which will see the launch of 10 houseboats over the next one year and two resorts over the next couple of years.

Announcing this at a press conference here on Monday, Sims Sudhakaran of NAS said the first of the houseboats would be launched by Minister for Tourism Kodiyeri Balakrishnan here on September 26.

Alappuzha MP K.S. Manoj would do the switching on ceremony. The houseboat, Mr. Sudhakaran claimed, would be the largest of its kind in the State.
