Reception given

Kochi: Chief Justice of India K.G. Balakrishnan was given a reception at the Kerala High Court Auditorium on Monday by the Kerala High Court Advocates' Association. Replying to felicitation, Mr. Balakrishnan said that the Kerala High Court had more facilities compared to other High Courts in the country. Acting Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court K.S. Cruise vessel to arrive today

KOCHI: Queen Mary II, said to be the largest and most expensive cruise vessel in the world, will arrive at Kochi on Wednesday afternoon with 2,800 passengers, as part of world cruise. The vessel will be berthed in Kochi for two days. As tall as the Eiffel Tower, it can carry 3,000 passengers and 1,800 crew. The passengers will be taken on tours of the Alappuzha and Kochi backwaters and to Fort Kochi and Mattancherry heritage towns. Staff Reporter
