MALAPPURAM: The National Service Scheme unit of Government College, Malappuram, launched a nature club named Kattupacha on Wednesday. C.R. Neelakantan, environmental activist, inaugurated the club.

Mr. Neelakantan said a new development paradigm was the need of the hour for a State like Kerala.

College principal P.K. Velayudhan presided over the function.

K. Zainul Abid, staff coordinator, welcomed the gathering.

P.M. Niyas Ali, student convener of Kattupacha, proposed a vote of thanks.
