THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Pannian Ravindran, MP, has offered to bring to the State government’s attention the demand of Kerala Madya Nirodhana Samithi for restoring the provisions in the Panchayati Raj and Nagar Palika Acts that empower the people to ban liquor. The CPI leader, who was addressing the participants of the indefinite satyagraha being organised before the Secretariat by the Samithi to press the demand said that he would urge the government to study the demand and take action. — Special Correspondent
