Chief Minister inaugurates pressThiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan on Wednesday said he drew strength from the people and was not a "media creation" as portrayed by certain sections. Speaking at the 95th anniversary celebrations of the Kerala Kaumudi newspaper here, the Chief Minister said he had been in politics and alongside the people of Kerala since 1940. He said the media had supported several of the issues raised by him. "I believe the media knows that I am a creation of the people of Kerala," he added. He inaugurated the new Kerala Kaumudi press. Admitted to hospitalThiruvananthapuram: Four persons were admitted to Medical College Hospital on Wednesday morning with symptoms of food poisoning after they consumed wild mushrooms along with their dinner the previous night.
