`Stop harassment of lorry operators'
Thiruvananthapuram: The Thiruvananthapuram Jilla Manal Lorry Thozhilali Union (AITUC) has urged the Government to stop the harassment of lorry operators by Police, Revenue and Vigilance officials involved in the crackdown on unauthorised sand mining. Addressing a press conference here, union president M. Sujanapriyan said scores of lorries were impounded on false charges. Lorry operators in the district will take out a march to the Secretariat on Tuesday and stage a dharna to highlight their demands, the union announced. Special Correspondent
