The students of the first four batches of the Alappuzha Government TD College said they were pained at not being invited to the Golden jubilee celebrations of the College, which was inaugurated here on March 16 by the President of India.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Dr.N.Radhakrishnan, chief surgeon of St. Thomas Hospital, Changanasserry and others who were students in

the college, complained that none of the first ten batches of the college were invited for the meeting convened to plan for the Golden Jubilee celebrations.

"When a celebration is conducted, alumni associations have to be invited. However, the celebrations at the college were planned according to an interest of a

few people. “We are deeply hurt," Dr. Radhakrishnan said. – Staff Reporter
