KOCHI: The Indian Air Force is holding a recruitment rally for selecting airmen in technical and medical assistants trades in Kannur from December 18 to 22.

Those who have passed Plus Two with 50 per cent aggregate marks (pass marks will do in English, Chemistry and Biology) from Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Wayanad, Palakkad and Thrissur districts can attend the recruitment rally. Those holding a three-year engineering diploma from Government-approved polytechnics are also eligible. The rally will be held at the Kerala Armed Police grounds at Mangattuparamba in Kannur.

Only males who were born between January 1, 1986 and March 31, 1990 are eligible for taking the written test and physical fitness test, Wing Commander Pinaki Chatterjee, commanding officer of 14 Airmen Selection Centre, Kochi, told a news conference on Thursday. The tests would be followed by an interview and a medical examination.

Those attending the rally should carry with them all relevant documents and certificates apart from six photographs and domicile certificate showing that they hail from one of the seven districts.
