An action plan for the comprehensive development of the Irikkur Assembly constituency represented by Rural Development Minister K.C. Joseph is in the pipeline.

A press release issued by the Information and Public Relations Department here on Friday said that the action plan was drafted at a workshop at the Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA) at Mulankunnathukavu

in Thrissur attended by grama and block panchayats representatives in the constituency and various department officials. The Minister inaugurated the workshop.

The Minister, the release said, said a blueprint of long-term schemes for the development of the constituency would be made. Each project should be given priority for implementation, he said calling for coordinated activities for launching the schemes.
