CBI Special Judge S. Vijayakumar adjourned to March 17 the hearing on a petition filed by Father Jose Puthrikayil and Sister Sephy, second and third accused in the Sister Abhaya death case, seeking to discharge them from the case.

They said the charge sheet did not disclose any prima facie evidence against them in the case. The Division Bench of the High Court had observed that there were some editing in the compact disc containing the narco analysis test done on them and it was fabricated. Therefore, there was no legal sanctity for the test, they argued.
