The Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has announced the winter schedule of flight services for the period between October 27 and March 25.
The schedule will feature 956 services in a week through the airport – 465 in the international sector (both domestic and international) and 491 services in the domestic sector. This is an increase of 16 per cent growth in the international services and six per cent in the domestic services compared to the summer schedule.
The total aircraft movement through the airport has also increased by 11 per cent. In the international sector, most number of weekly services will be operated in Dubai sector – 35. This will be followed by Sharjah (32), Doha (25), Abu Dhabi (21), Kuwait, Kuala Lumpur, and Muscat (17), Colombo (16), Bahrain and Singapore (14), Male (7), Jeddah (4), Riyad (3), Damam (2), and Salala (1).
With 78 services in a week, Mumbai tops the list in the domestic sector followed by Chennai (58), Bangalore (48), Delhi (35), Hyderabad (28), Thiruvananthapuram (16), Kozhikode (9), Visakhapatnam (7), Trichy, Agathi, and Pune (6), and Mangalore (3).
