At least seven persons including three school students were injured when a school bus rammed into a stationary KSRTC bus on National Highway at Ottapunna near Cherthala in the district on Saturday.

Police said that the school bus of St Gregory’s School, Maradu, rammed into the KSRTC bus at 3.30 p.m., injuring seven persons, including the driver and conductor of the school bus. The injuries were minor in nature. Police said reckless driving by the school bus driver caused the accident. Cherthala police have registered a case.
