Nearly 1,000 cochlear implantation surgeries will be conducted in the State over the coming four years, Social Welfare Minister M.K. Muneer has said here. Inaugurating a medical camp for cerebral palsy patients organised by Parents Association of Disabled Students (PADS) in association with NIMS Medicity on Wednesday, the Minister said the surgeries would be conducted under the ‘Sruthi Tharangam’ project of the Kerala Social Security Mission. — A Correspondent
