BANGALORE: Awards are beckoning students who have made a significant mark in the field of science.

The Young Scientist Award '07, instituted by the Karnataka Rajya Vijnana Parishat and the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka, will be presented at the State and district levels.

Aspirants should have contributed substantially to programmes or events of scientific significance during 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2006-07.

They should be in the age group of 15-18. Heads of institutions should nominate the candidates.
