Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa on Thursday inaugurated the renovated office of the State Secretariat Employees Cooperative Society here and promised a site for construction of a community hall for the benefit of employees.

The society started with 200 members many years ago now has 4,000 members. Its annual turnover is Rs. 30 crore.The Chief Minister said the employees and elected representatives needed to respond to the grievances of the people. Mr. Yeddyurappa lauded the services of the society to its members, particularly with regard to housing and health.
