He will be inaugurating various projects in the district

Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa will be inaugurating various public buildings, estimated to have cost Rs. 53 crore, including the outpatient department at the district government hospital in Haveri.

The Chief Minister will be inaugurating the mini Vidhanasoudha, constructed at a cost of Rs. 1 crore, at Hanagal at 10.30 a.m. He will also inaugurate the Samarthya Soudha (Rs. 1.6 crore) and the Government Polytechnic building (Rs. 8 crore) there, before addressing a public gathering on the polytechnic premises.

Mr. Yeddyurappa will be at Haveri at 12.15 p.m. to conduct a review meeting with the officials at the Zilladalita Bhavana there. He will be inaugurating the ground floor of the Government Engineering College building at 2 p.m. Subsequently, he will inaugurate the Pandit Puttaraja Gavai Memorial Hall, PU College building, lift irrigation project, new OPD block of the district hospital and the district indoor stadium.

After addressing a public gathering at the municipal ground at 3 p.m., Mr. Yeddyurappa will leave for Bangalore at 3.30 p.m.

The district indoor stadium and swimming pool have been built at a cost of Rs. 3.86 crore, the OPD block Rs. 16 crore, drug warehouse Rs. 1.42 crore and trauma care centre Rs. 63 lakh. The cost of the government engineering college has been estimated at Rs. 17 crore.
