Bangalore: Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa told the Legislative Assembly on Thursday that the government had initiated action to nab those involved in the attack on a church on Hosur road on the outskirts of Bangalore and that “stern action” would be taken against those indulging in such activities.

Replying to the matter raised by Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah and Janata Dal (Secular) Floor Leader H.D. Revanna, the Chief Minister said: “Such attacks are being perpetrated by those wanting to tarnish the image of the government.” He assured the minorities that no effort would be spared in providing support and protection to them.
