: A three-day ‘Akhila Bharata Yakshagana Bayalata Sahitya Sammelana’ will begin here on Tuesday. It will be held at the Marikamba Kalyana Mantapa under the auspices of the Karnataka Samskratika Kala Pratistana, Bangalore, Kakshagana Bayalata Academy, Bangalore, and Yaksha Shalmala Organisation, Sonda.
A procession of the president of the convention and noted Yakshagana artist and critic M.A. Hegde Dantakal will be taken out from Bidkibail to the Kalyana Mantapa at 10 a.m.
Veteran Yakshagana writer and artist Manjunath Bhagwat Hostota will inaugurate the programme. Sonda Swarnavalli seer Gangadharendra Saraswati Swami will be present. Academy president M.L. Samaga will preside over the inauguration.
