India Post conducted a workshop on the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act for rural postmen in all taluks. In Bidar, Superintendent of Posts B. Srinivasulu asked the postmen to ensure prompt delivery of cash to workers. Deputy superintendent B. Jagannath Rao spoke about accounting procedures. Taluk panchayat executive officer B.S. Patil explained the provisions of the scheme to the participants. Resource persons Sanju and Nalini, officials Mangala Bhagawat and Subhash Gowli spoke.
