The British Library will organise a workshop on Sunday for executives who have little or no experience of communicating in English on the phone.

Some of the skills to be taught include making and answering calls, asking the caller to wait, asking for repetition and clarification, how to handle meetings over the phone and how to end the conversation, a release said. Huma Riaz, a corporate trainer, will be the resource person.
