Mysore: A two-day workshop on archaeology will be conducted by the Department of Ancient History and Archaeology, University of Mysore. It will be held at Senate Bhavan, Manasagangotri on Monday and Tuesday and the objective is to apprise the participants of the recent research done in India and results of the excavations conducted in the State. Experts will deliver a series of lectures on new Harappan sites, Sannati, Rajaghatta and Talakad apart from speaking on temple art and architecture. A.V. Narasimhamurthy will inaugurate the workshop, M.V. Krishnappa will deliver the keynote address and N.S. Rangaraju, chairman of the department, will preside over the workshop.
