A workshop on industrial quality tools and technologies was held here on Monday. The participants were impressed upon the imperatives of adhering to quality control competing in a globalised market.

The workshop marked the 20th anniversary of the Mysore Industries Association and the centenary of industrialisation in the region.

It was held in association with the District Industries Centre, Karnataka Quality Council of India, Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association among others.

B.P. Shashidar, vice-president, KASSIA, inaugurated the workshop.

Aravind Burji, past president, KAASIA, MIA president P.Vishwanath, and vice-president Srinath were present.
