Republican Party of India leader and former KGF MLA S. Rajendran has said that development work is not being taken up in Kolar Gold Fields, though it has been six months since Y. Ramakka of the BJP was elected from the constituency. Motorists are facing difficulty due to poor roads, Mr. Rajendran said at a public meeting at KGF on Sunday. People are forced to purchase drinking water, he said. However Ms. Ramakka has failed to take any steps to solve water scarcity, he alleged. — Staff Correspondent
