Sanjay Sahay, Inspector-General of Police (Eastern Range), has said that hard work is the only way to survive in this competitive world.
Participating in an interactive session with students of Shamanur Pushpa Mahalingappa School here on Friday, Mr. Sahay said that today’s society was knowledge-based and there was a need to keep updating knowledge on a daily basis.
As technology was changing rapidly, students should use it for the right purposes, he said.
Students should not get disheartened if the marks secured by them in a particular examination happened to be lower than their expectation. They should work hard to improve the percentage in subsequent examinations.
Later, Mr. Sanjay answered a volley of questions from the students. He narrated how he took a bold decision to leave his village and go to Delhi to study and become an IPS officer.
