Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar has said no action will be taken against any of his Cabinet colleagues unless charges against them were proved in court.

Speaking to presspersons here on Thursday after casting his vote at SBI School, Mr. Shettar tried to play down the issue of the Lokayukta police filing their final report against Industries Minister Murugesh R. Nirani in a case pertaining to irregularities in allotment of an industrial plot.

He said the report had not come to him yet and he would comment only after going through it.

He expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party would come to power in most of the urban local bodies.
