Criticising the anti-Karnataka attitude of Shiv Sena leader Bal Thackeray, members of the Kannada Chaluvali Vatal Paksha staged a protest and urged the Union Government to arrest Mr. Thackeray under the National Security Act. Addressing the gathering, paksha leader Vatal Nagaraj said there were disturbances in Belgaum because of the anti-Karnataka act by the members of Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti who have support from Mr. Thackeray. Mr. Nagaraj regretted that the Karnataka Government is delaying superseding the Belgaum City Corporation. He threatened a State-wide agitation if the MES continues its anti-Karnataka attitude. — Staff Reporter
