Udupi: The University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bangalore, in association with its affiliate organisation, the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Farm Science Centre), will conduct a survey of 188 tanks in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts in 45 days from now.

A press release issued by the kendra at Brahmavar here on Monday stated that the varsity had identified the tanks through satellite photographs.

Work on removing silt from the tanks in the two districts would be done on basis of the survey.
