A two-wheeler rider, identified as Mahadesha (25), was run over by a BMTC bus in the Jayanagar police station limits on Sunday evening. The police said that the bus overtook Mahadesha’s vehicle and suddenly turned left, scraping his vehicle. Mahadesha fell and the bus ran over him. .

A lorry cleaner was killed on the spot when a KSTDC car hit him when he was crossing the B.B. Road near Kannamangala Gate in the International Airport police station limits on Saturday night. The police identified the deceased as Kiran (25).

The police have seized the earthmover, but the operator is absconding. On Saturday night, three persons, who were travelling in a car, were killed when their vehicle crashed into the barricades on the Bangalore-Hosur Highway near Neralur gate.
