Two persons, including a pedestrian, died in separate accidents in the city since Thursday night.

A 17-year-old was killed when his two-wheeler was hit by a BMTC bus on the Lingarajapuram flyover in Fraser Town traffic police station limits on Friday morning.

Himaniyal Mario, a resident of Ramaswamypalya , had dropped a relative at a bus stop nearby and was returning home when the accident occurred. The police said he was trying to overtake the bus from the left when his two-wheeler scraped the bus, and he lost control of it and fell. Mario sustained head injuries and was rushed to Bowring Hospital by the bus conductor, but he was declared brought dead.
