Regional Banking Ombudsman M. Palanisami has called upon the bank employees to treat customers with courtesy, especially senior citizens and pensioners. He was speaking at a meeting of banking customers here on Saturday.

Mr. Palanisami said that bank employees should never forget that customers were the biggest asset of a bank. The Reserve Bank of India and the Union Finance Ministry were working on a plan to expand and strengthen the banking network in the country, he said.
