BANGALORE: Karnataka State Council for Child Welfare is conducting a 10-month “Balasevika” training course for young women who are interested in working with women, children and community development. The medium of instruction of the course is Kannada and certificate will be issued to the participants after the training. Those who have passed/failed SSLC are eligible to apply. Deserving rural candidates will be given stipend. Hostel facility will also be provided at subsidised rates. The course, which has limited seats, will commence from July 1.
