In view of the string of holidays, expecting a huge rush towards Bangalore City Railway Station and the Kempe Gowda bus terminal on April 5, the Bangalore City Traffic police have imposed restrictions on vehicular movement and also the routes that KSRTC buses take in the city.

All private vehicle parking is banned on Dhanvanthri Road, Railway Station Road, Tank Bund Road, Platform Road and Khodays junction on Thursday.

Avoid these roads

Road users who are not leaving the city are to avoid K.G. Road, Goods Shed Road, Seshadri Road, Subedar Chattram Road, Platform Road, and Krishna Flour Mill Road.

The police have also charted out different routes for KSRTC buses going to various destinations to ease the traffic. All buses going towards Mysore, Kodagu and Kerala will start only from Mysore Road Bus Terminal. Buses going towards Tamil Nadu will start only from Shanthinagar Bus terminal. Those going towards Davangere will start only from the Chikka Lalbhagh bus terminal.
