Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday said he would direct the Chief Secretary to hold consultations with officials of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to resolve the crisis pertaining to the steep hike in the toll rate on National Highway 7. Speaking to reporters at his home office, Krishna, Mr. Siddaramaiah said he was aware of the protests by taxi operators and the public over the issue.
