HASSAN: A three-year-old girl was killed in Chealanahalli in Arsikere taluk on Monday.

According to Additional Superintendent of Police Umesh Pangam, the girl, Harshitha, was bathed on Sunday evening outside her house by her mother. After the bath, the mother went inside to bring her clothes, but found her child missing. The residents of the village helped her search for the girl, but she was not to be seen. Harshitha’s body was found in a drain on Monday morning. Her gold chain and silver anklet were missing. A case was registered in the Gandsi police station.
