The Electronics City police arrested three persons for allegedly threatening the staff of a fuel station with a country-made pistol.

The police identified the suspects as K.G. Mouna, Shubam and Raki and seized the pistol and six bullets.

Held for theft

The Koramangala police arrested Suren Kumar Mudali (23) for allegedly stealing Rs. 5 lakh from the house of his employer Anil Safani. The police recovered Rs. 4.98 lakh from Mudali.

The Madivala police arrested Jagannatha Sahu (20), a security guard in a software company, on the charge of stealing computer accessories.

The Varthur police arrested B.C. Vinod (24), a supervisor in Safe Express Couriers, in connection with the theft of Rs. 1.5 lakh worth electronic goods.

Cheating case

The Koramangala police arrested Raju (19) of B.T.M Layout for allegedly cheating his friend Chaitra of her gold ornaments after promising to marry her.

The police recovered Rs. 2 lakh-worth jewellery from him.

Found dead

A 35-year-old woman was found dead in her house in Nanjappa Layout in Mangammanapalya in Madivala Police Station limits on Thursday.

The police said Beebi had been strangulated and her body was found in a decomposed state. The police suspect the involvement of a man who was a frequent visitor to her house.

In the last seven days, the South East Division police have arrested 54 persons and recovered 1.36 crore worth property from them.
