The accused contacted Ravi, also a native of Madakeshira, who is working as a painter in Bangalore.

The police said Ravi (30) and his two accomplices — Harish Kumar (30) and Channegowda (23) — took Shivakumar to Madakeshira on February 27 night and murdered him before setting the body ablaze.

A case was registered in Agali police station.

On a tip-off, the Bangalore’s Central Crime Branch police sleuths questioned Ravi and cracked the murder. The three accused were handed over to the Andhra Pradesh police.
