BANGALORE: The Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC)-sponsored Taxi Owners and Drivers’ Welfare Association will launch its call centre (Ph.: 42525555) on Wednesday.

Addressing presspersons here on behalf of the association, freedom fighter H.S. Doraiswamy said on Monday that the association aimed at giving better taxi services to the people. The call centre would help the people in getting taxis easily. With the association obtaining permission to operate 100 taxis from the Bengaluru International Airport, this call centre would go a long way in providing better services to people, Mr. Doreswamy said.
