State-owned Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KSDL) has launched Suvarna Yojane, a scheme to sell its products to government servants and voluntary organisations at subsidised rates. KSDL chairman and the former Minister Shivanand Naik launched the Suvarna Yojane at a function in the Vidhana Soudha on Thursday. Under the scheme, government employees and voluntary organisations can purchase KSDL products at a discount. A kit comprising Mysore sandal soaps, Mysore sandal powder, Mysore detergent cake, Mysore detergent powder, Mysore sandal agarbatis and Mysore sandal dhoop will be offered to customers.
