The Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services has said that 57 surplus and uneconomical animals (she buffaloes) were available for sale at the government livestock farm, Dhat, Mollem, Goa.

Interested farmers may inspect the animals on any working day (except Sunday and holidays) between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., as well as 2.30 p.m. and 5.00 p.m.

The allotment of surplus animals will be done on a first come, first served basis, the directorate added.

Farmers should submit their applications for allotment of surplus and uneconomical animals to the directorate, quoting the identification number of the animals.
