GULBARGA: Additional Director-General of Police (Communication and Modernisation) M.K. Srivastav has said the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will provide technical training for newly recruited sub-inspectors of the State police in handling the latest communication equipment in their facilities.

Speaking after inspecting the guard of honour by the first batch of the 45 sub-inspectors (wireless), who completed their basic training at the Police Training College at Naganalli village on the outskirts of the city, on Thursday, Mr. Srivastav said that the senior officials of the State police had held discussions with senior officials of the CRPF in this regard and had persuaded them to impart training to the sub-inspectors. He said that the State Government had also given the green signal for sending the 45 sub-inspectors to be trained under the supervision of the CRPF officials. A formal order was expected to be issued soon.
