MYSORE: A rally was organised for a noble cause: it was to educate people about the urgency to save environment from destruction.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, students from various schools and colleges here came in large numbers to participate in the cycle rally organised jointly by the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) and the Mysore zoo here on Friday. Wearing T-shirts and white caps, the students pedalled around the city chanting slogans on conserving environment, before reaching the zoo premises where a function was organised.
