BIDAR: Students of Class 10 of the Government High School, Janawada, Bidar taluk, staged a protest on Thursday on the school premises urging the authorities to bifurcate classes eight, nine and 10 into sections “A” and “B”. They said that 115 students were studying in class 10 and that all of them were accommodated in one classroom. They said the situation was similar for the students of classes eight and nine. They withdrew the protest on the assurance of the Block Education Officer that steps would be taken to set things right in the school. — Staff Correspondent
