Students bring laurels to polytechnic college

Students of R.N. Shetty Polytechnic, run by Nagnur Rudrakshi Math, did themselves proud by winning several national-level competitions held in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra recently.

According to a release issued by the college here on Tuesday, A.D. Almadiya and John Nadar won the first prize in scientific paper presentation at Murugesan Institute of Technology in Tamil Nadu. P.G. Usha, Aishwarya H., Saishree Charantimath and Vinayak Shivpuji stood first in science and technology paper presentation at the A.G. Patil Institute of Technology in Maharashtra.

Vijaylaxmi Hanumannavar, Varsha Shirhatti, Prashant Sulkhe and Praveen Patil won the first prize at a product exhibition organised by the KLE Institute of Technology in Belgaum.

Akshay, Prashant, Praveen and Sushant stood third in ‘Flip Logic’ competitions, and Amit Patil won the first prize in the elocution competition held at the same institute.

Saud Chandgadkar and Vijaylaxmi bagged the first prize in a project exhibition at the Belgaum-based A.M. Shaikh College of Engineering and Technology.
